Projects

NITCAA Trivandrum consists of a large group of professionals comprising of Alumni – working and retired- and ex-Faculty of National Institute of Technology, Calicut (NIT Calicut) in Trivandrum and neighboring districts.
We are organizing several programs for the benefit of society at large through sharing knowledge and expertise in different fields which we acquired over a period. We are also conducting several programs in association with other agencies like Energy Management Centre, Rotary International, Educational Institutions, State Library etc.to name a few.
As we all know, we are going through a difficult phase in life. The very existence of life is being threatened by lack of proper food, clean drinking water and pure air to breathe. The shortage of energy and the fast-depleting natural energy sources is a matter of great concern for all of us. Unpredictable Climate changes are affecting the normal life of millions around the world in one way or other. Extreme climatic conditions, melting of ice in polar regions, rising sea water level, vanishing of many habituated islands and gradual disappearance of land near sea, flash floods, tornados etc. have become real life threats.
We in NITCAA strongly believe that adopting a sustainable living model by the individuals and society can bring in a great relief to the current problems. With this aspect in mind, we developed a series of projects which are beneficial to society. The student centric activities are aimed at making them a better responsible citizen in future, guide them through the latest technological developments and in career development.
